Electronic Health Records

At Warren Eye Care we have been using computers extensively since 1997. In 2001, we changed from pen and paper record keeping to an Electronic Health Record. This allowed us to improve the quality of documentation in the office and also improved (and secured) access to this information. Without a user name and password, the data cannot be accessed. This is much more secure than having a rack of paper charts stored somewhere in the office.

We are also able to access the information in multiple locations in the office at the same time. Our doctors can be working with the record of an exam encounter while the opticians are working with the patient in the optical department. This simply is not possible with pen and paper record keeping.

In May of 2008 we upgraded our software to EyeCodeRight Online. This product was created by Dr. Warren and his partners at “Health Innovation Technologies” which is a company dedicated to electronic health care information management. Revolution EHR is an internet based software solution. This means that our doctors have secure access to information 24/7/365 so that we are never out of touch with the information we need to care for our patients.

WE WANT TO SAY “THANK YOU” FOR YOUR TRUST AND CONFIDENCE. YOUR REFERRAL OF FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS IS TRULY THE HIGHEST COMPLIMENT THAT YOU CAN PAY US.

We have created a program to say “Thank You” to our patients who refer friends, family members, and co-workers to our practice. The program is called “Share the Care!”
For each new patient who provides us your name as the referrer you will receive a $20 Appreciation Certificate for use toward the future purchase of a complete pair of eyeglasses or a year supply of contact lenses. Important details about the Share the Care program are below, but if you have any questions just ask our staff for details!

• Due to insurance requirements, this discount can not be combined with vision insurance plans, medical insurance plans, or other discounts
• The total value will be tracked by Warren Eye Care staff – no work is required by you
• Certificate total value can be applied to a purchase of a complete pair of glasses (lenses and frame) or a full year supply of contact lenses for anyone within your household family
• Certificate value may not be applied to examination (vision or medical) or contact lens assessment fees
• The programs accumulated value expires two (2) years from the date of initial referral
• We must be told the day that your friend or family member is in the office that you referred them
• We hope you will always be comfortable and confident sharing our philosophy of care with your family and friends.
